Cowboy Bebop (2021)

Arguably one of the most popular anime series that ever existed is finally getting a live action version made, over 20 years after it first dropped in Tokyo and you can almost hear the collective gasp from fans about the Netflix series Cowboy Bebop!  Set in the year 2071, we follow a ragtag crew of bounty hunters led by Spike (John Cho), bouncing around the solar system busting heads and catching bad guys for cash.  In this future an accident with a hyperspace gateway has rendered planet earth virtually uninhabitable, so humans have colonized every moon and planet within reach.  This has created a massive criminal element around the solar system, which caused the creation of Inter Solar System Police (ISSP), who setup the contract system with the shady bounty hunters better known as "cowboys".  Spike is an ex-hit man and member of the Red Dragon Crime Syndicate and with the help of his partners Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye (Danielle Pineda), he must do everything in his power to stop Vicious (Alex Hassell), a former criminal colleague, from escaping justice! This live action take on the anime classic hits on pretty much every genre you'd want, a Neo-Noir Sci-fi Western Space opera that takes on every issue under the sun in the most fun ways imaginable!  Lucky for us too, sexy screen legend John Cho steps into the lead role and loses his shirt and pants in the process and also Alex Hassell plays his nemesis with some scary sex appeal!
