The beautiful thing about Dutch dudes... There isn't a single one of them that doesn't tower over you as both men AND women average over 6 feet tall in that gorgeous country of giants! Derek de Lint is no exception to this rule either, as he's stacked up at a healthy 6'2" tall and is definitely aged into being a famous Dutch silver fox in his native country! Derek got his start way back in the mid 70s, most notably what brings him our way in the Paul Verhoeven directed war film Soldier of Orange (1977), where he shows some serious side butt as a bad guy going to take a boom-boom amidst the Nazi invasion of Holland. Since then though, Derek has gone on the become a beloved character actor in The Netherlands for over 40 years, getting his face on some popular TV series like The Free Frenchman, China Beach, and Dossier Verhulst. That's not to say he hasn't been cast in some more familiar projects stateside, including the lead in the long running series Poltergeist: The Legacy; as well as appearances on Alias, The Outer Limits, and NCIS. He's also had some big budget features under his belt too, having been in Deep Impact (1998), When a Stranger Calls (2006), and The Admiral (2015). It's been an impressive career for this Dutch dime-piece and he's aging like a fine wine and with that thick mane of silver hair, he's the daddy type you've been looking for!
