Jovial Joe Lo Truglio is bound to tickle your funny bone. Or, maybe he’ll give you a bone with his tush-touting turns on film and TV. While studying at New York University, Joe co-founded a sketch comedy group with his pals (Michael Ian Black, Ken Marino, Thomas Lennon, David Wain, and more) that would eventually become MTV’s The State (1993-1995). Since then, Joe continued to work on projects with his funny friends, including the cult classics Reno 911! (2005-2009, 2020-present), Wet Hot American Summer (2001), Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (2015), and Wanderlust (2012). The latter flick features Paul Rudd, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Malin Åkerman, Kathryn Hahn, Alan Alda, and Joe’s full frontal nudity! The naked babe covered up when he popped up in Judd Apatow’s Superbad (2007) and Pineapple Express (2008). But he exposed his… serious side in the Terrence Malick movie Knight of Cups (2015). On the small screen, Joe can be seen on comedy shows (Free Agents, You Wrote It, You Watch It) and heard on animated hits (Robot Chicken, American Dad!). To exhibit his wide range, the boob tube cutie went topless on Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013-2021) and bottomless on Party Down (2009).
