Most ordinary people don't know what a Stop-Loss is, but for a combat veteran, it's a scary thought.  You see, a Stop-Loss is when the US Armed Forces decides that one of their former members needs to be forced back into active duty, past the agreed upon service time from when they joined up.  For decorated Iraqi War veteran, Staff Sergeant Brandon King (Ryan Phillippe), his return from the war means he gets to settle down and get moving with the rest of his life.  That is until the good old US Army decides to punch his ticket back to the war against his will, forcing him into another tour of duty in the last place on earth he wants to return to.  Brandon is forced to take a long hard look at what valor means to him, especially when he sees the affects of combat on a couple of his best friends, PFC Tommy Burgess (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Sgt. Steve Shriver (Channing Tatum), who are all suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder for various reasons.  So when Brandon and Steve get their new orders to get on a bus to fly back to the war, they need to decide whether the war is worth fighting or if they should just get in a car and head for Mexico to live out the rest of their days with the war firmly in their rearview.  Despite the heavy subject matter, they couldn't have picked a sexier cast to fill out these fatigues with C-Tates showing off that stripper bod & bulge and Ryan Phillippe showing some shirtless skin for our viewing pleasure as well!
