Surge (2020)

Surge (2021) is a thrilling drama by director Aneil Karia that shows us how one mentally ill man can unravel and do unthinkable things. The film is set in London over the course of a day where a man who works as a TSA agent at the airport is very down-on-his-luck. He is a loner who mostly just goes to work and visits his mom. One day, he feels as if everyone at work is nagging him. An ATM machine eats up his debit card so that he cannot get any cash out of his account. His mother criticizes him. Everything in his life feels loud as if there is too much noise going on in his head while he himself remains silent. All of a sudden he snaps. He winds up making bold and daring movies - having a breakdown at work, committing a robbery, and more - that seem dangerous to others but liberating to him. This is an uncomfortable, tense, and gripping watch that will have you on the edge of your seat as you wonder what our leading man will do next. Ben Whishaw stars as Joseph, our main man who is not doing so hot even though he looks super hot. He is shirtless and sexy in a scene where he slowly peels off his clothes and crawls into bed. That is when we see his ass!
