The Confidant (2010)

The Confidant (2010) is about childhood best friends (David Banner and Boris Kodjoe) whose bond is strong through the secrets they keep. They are on their way to their promising futures - one as a first-round NFL draft pick and the other as a talented art scholar. However, the boys went through a series of lies, gambling, and murder that sent the innocent friend to jail and allowed the other to get famous. After the 11 years is spent in jail, the innocent one is free to collect his debt by any means necessary
