The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017-2023) debuted to marvelous reviews thanks to Emmy and Golden Globe winner Rachel Brosnahan in the titular role. As a 1950s housewife, she is content with her life on the Upper West Side of Manhattan until her husband Joel (Michael Zegen) suddenly leaves her for another woman. But instead of taking this news sitting down, the plucky Mrs. Maisel tries stand-up comedy! By the 5th and final season, we see Midge (Brosnahan) writing for the fictional The Gordon Ford Show in the 1960s with glimpses of her future self in the 21st century. Along the way, she rubs elbows with her manager Susie Myerson (Alex Borstein); Reggie (Sterling K. Brown); late night talk show host Gordon Ford (Reid Scott); a popular stand-up comic named Sophie Lennon (Jane Lynch); real-life comedienne Moms Mabley (Wanda Sykes); and legendary comedian Lenny Bruce (Luke Kirby) who shows off his bare chest in season 4. Not to be outdone, a topless Josh (Nolan Gerard Funk) dons swim trunks in season 2. That goes double for Abe Weissman (Tony Shalhoub) and Asher Friedman (Jason Alexander) in season 3. Of course, Mr. Zegen parades his pecs throughout the run. The shirtless actor can be seen in his undies in seasons 1 and 4. Come season 5, he only wears a towel! Even though this Amazon Prime series doesn’t offer any prime nudity, its manly cast members will keep you streaming in every sense of the word. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel?
