Biography

Though often confused for an American, Tim Roth was actually born in London. One of Quentin Tarantino's favorite collaborators, the story goes that when his bike tire went flat he walked into a community theater he did plays in and noticed they were holding auditions for a TV movie, which led to his first big break and screen debut as Trevor, a racist skinhead, in Made In Britain (1982). That was pretty ironic because his dad had changed the family name from Smith to Roth as an anti-Nazi move. He moved on to play a young Vincent Van Gogh in Vincent and Theo (1990) and Guildenstern to Gary Oldman's Rosencrantz in Rosencrantz & Guildernstern Are Dead (1990). While those flicks led to him becoming well known in The UK as one of the "Brit Pack," in the early 90s this stud gained attention in the States when he landed the role of Mr. Orange in Reservoir Dogs (1992), and the cafe robbing Pumpkin in Pulp Fiction (1994). Now a full blown international sensation, he earned an Oscar nomination for his work in Rob Roy (1995). You would barely know it was Tim playing Thade in Planet of the Apes (2001), before, with a reputation for playing sleazy contemptible characters with slicked back hair, it was starting to look unfortunate that Tim hadn’t taken the sleaze to the next level and bared much skin. Luckily in 2006 he went shirtless in Even Money (2006), then threw us a bone--well, not quite a bone, but at least there is ass--in Youth Without Youth (2007). In that WWII mystery, Tim can be seen lying face down in a bath which lets us see his bottom. We'd go bottoms up and chug that bath water down, anytime! Tim hit the small screen as the world's leading deception expert Dr. Cal Lightman on Fox's Lie to Me, kept it racist as the segregation loving Governor of Alabama George Wallace in Selma (2014), then returned to the world of Tarantino as Red Rock's notorious hangman Oswaldo Mobray in The Hateful Eight (2015). While he hadn't given us much worth jacking to in a long while, after playing former London cop assigned to rural Canada Jack Worth on Tin Star, he showed us his body one more time in Sundown (2021). Aside from a group shower with a pig, we get to see Tim going to pound town with a lovely lady. These days you can see Tim, who first played spec ops commander Emil Blonsky in The Incredible Hulk (2008), returning to the role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022). We object to this slim sex object doing Disney stuff. Tom Roth needs to take if off!
