Big Little Lies (2017)

HBO had put out some A-list heavy stuff before, but the two seasons of Big Little Lies took things to another level. Based off of Australian writer Liane Moriarty's novel of the same name, the show centered around a group of high-class women raising their children in Monterey, California. Nicole Kidman starred as Celeste Wright, a rich woman living with her controlling husband Perry (Alexander Skarsgard), who likes to get really violent during sex. She's in therapy, since she's not sure if the aggressive fights that lead to mindblowing sex are abuse or not. Reese Witherspoon is Madeline Mackenzie, the town busybody who used to be married to Nathan (James Tupper), is currently married to the kind of boring Ed (Adam Scott) and is super jealous of Nathan's hot new wife Bonnie (Zoe Kravitz). A bit older, Laura Dern plays the boss bitch Renata Klein, while the new girl in town is Jane Chapman (Shailene Woodley). She's a single mom whose son Ziggy (Young Sheldon himself, Iain Armitage) was the product of a vicious assault some mysterious man did to her. When Ziggy is accused of hurting Renata's daughter Amabella (Ivy George), the women's lives collide in ways they never could've imagined. We'll keep it vague, but in season two Meryl Streep shows up as Perry's mom who rolls into Monterey asking all sorts of questions about a mysterious death that happened in town. Talk about a stupidly stacked cast! Our lives were changed forever after seeing Alexander Skarsgård's truly ageless ass as he has sex against a wall during some violent, angry, but awesome sex. The mad, but mad sexy Mr. Skarsgard had us rock hard! Somehow, Laura Dern and Jeffrey Nording one-up them in the wild sex department. Jeffrey's buns make their debut when he's railing Laura against a mirror and she is going insane in the process! No lie, you'll have a big little something in your pants watching this one!
